Stone have dropped a new single in the form of ‘I Let Go’. The Liverpool band are no stranger to a frantic mosh pit, but their full-throttle take on modern post-punk is as emotionally charged as it is pit-ready. They describe the new single as about “how out of control you can become when going out, and even though you know getting drunk and partying isn’t good for you - it’s so fun in the moment.” Musically, it blends a snarling vocal delivery with chunky, jagged accompaniments that burst into life during the soaring chorus. The band are currently on tour with The Kooks, and will be embarking on their own headline UK tour in April 2023. -Dan Peeke.
